The pressure sensors of the DGxx series were assembled for connection to the standard testing machines of the ELS, HLS, ELD and PLS series and are used to measure the cell and pore water pressure in a triaxial cell or to measure the pore water pressure in a oedometer cell.

The pre-calibrated sensors are delivered ready for connection in a deairing block. The venting takes place via a needle valve on the top of the deairing block and is facilitated by very fine channels and polished surfaces.

The pressure sensors of the DGxx line have a very low temperature error over the entire measuring range. This is achieved by an additional circuit that contains a compensation table with the corresponding correction values for offset and gain.
